Despite this contentious stance, nearly a decade later, it appears that Ross is aiming for redemption.
I’d rephrase it as follows: I spoke with director Julius Onah from the movie «Captain America: Brave New World» to gain insight into Thaddeus Ross’s mindset during his campaign for the Oval Office and what his primary concerns are likely to be as he starts his first term in office.

All international efforts are centered around one individual: Betty. When Thaddeus first appeared in The Incredible Hulk (2008), he was accompanied by his on-screen daughter, portrayed by Liv Tyler. However, the relationship between Thaddeus and Betty took a severe hit when Thaddeus started pursuing Betty’s fiancée, Bruce Banner. Since then, both Thaddeus and Bruce have been featured in numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe stories, but Betty has remained conspicuously absent.
In the upcoming adaptation of «Brave New World», Thaddeus will be returning to play his role after an absence of 17 years. Speaking of the character, Onah expressed, «What appealed to me was that on a broader scale, he aims to improve the world, yet on a personal level, he yearns to rekindle his relationship with his daughter.» He further added, «His intention was to show Betty that he has truly changed.
Betty’s feelings towards her father are yet to be determined, and they may be put to the test when he undergoes his imminent enraged metamorphosis. In the upcoming series Brave New World, it has been disclosed that the Red Hulk will significantly impact the narrative by assuming Thaddeus’s monstrous alternate persona.
